The Sevier County Election Commission will meet on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. at the Sevier County Voting Machine Warehouse to certify the results of the May 7, 2009, City of Sevierville Municipal Election and the Annexation Referendum.
The Sevier County Election Commission will open and hold a Municipal Election for the City of Sevierville in the Sevierville Civic Center precinct on Thursday, May 7, 2009, for the following offices:
One (1) Mayor - 2-year term
Two (2) Alderman - 4-year term
THE QUALIFYING DEADLINE FOR THE MAY 7, 2009, CITY OF SEVIERVILLE MUNICIPAL ELECTION IS THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2009, AT 12:00 NOON.
The Election Commission office is located in the Sevier County Courthouse in Room 208-E. The office hours are 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The office telephone number is 453-6985.

The Sevier County Election Commission will open and hold the City of Sevierville Municipal Election on Thursday, May 7, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Sevierville Civic Center precinct in Sevier County.
Early Voting will be from April 17, 2009, through May 2, 2009, at the Election Commission Voting Machine Warehouse at 1145 Dolly Parton Parkway, Sevierville, TN. The hours for Early Voting are as follows:
Monday - Friday -10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
As required by T. C. A. 2-9-105 (b), the Sevier County Election Commission will inspect the machines prior to Early Voting and Election Day.
The inspection for all the Early Vote Voting Machines will be held on TUESDAY, APRIL 14, 2009, at 4:30 PM. The inspection for all the Election Day Voting Machines will be held on THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2009, at 4:30 PM. Inspections will be held at the Sevier County Election Commission, Voting Machine Warehouse, 1145 Dolly Parton Parkway, Sevierville, TN.
There will be a zero (000) tape available for inspection for every machine.
